      Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics as the national statistics organization was established in 1974. In the meantime local statistics have been established internationally as the National Statistics Bureau of Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics. In order to provide technical and administrative guidance on the country's statistical issues, Bangladesh Bureau of Statistics works as well as all statistical related programs as an implementing agency. It produces and publishes all statistical data-related data, compilation, data-data analysis, processing, research reports and publication of the country. In order to implement its activities, the Bureau of Bangladesh Statistics Bureau has set up the offices of Dhaka Head Office, level, district, upazila and thana level offices. There are 64 District Statistics Offices, 482 Upazilas and 69 Metropolitan Thana Statistical Offices in the greater 64 districts of Bangladesh. Deputy Director's Office, District Statistics Office, Dhaka is one of them.
